Το γεγονός αυτό επακόλουθα στηρίζει και τις τιµές του χρηµατιστηρίου, µε αποτέλεσµα το βαµβάκι να συντηρείται σε υψηλά επίπεδα, αγνοώντας την ενδυνάµωση του δολαρίου. Μπαίνουµε σε περίοδο σποράς στο Βόρειο ηµισφαίριο, οι καιρικές συνθήκες και οι δυσκολίες θα επηρεάσουν σε σηµαντικό βαθµό το χρηµατιστήριο. Μην ξεχνάµε το µεγάλο µέγεθος αφιξάριστων συµβολαίων από τους κλώστες, που µόλις κλειστούν υποστηρίζουν το χρηµατιστήριο.
Ελληνική Αγορά
Η ζήτηση για προαγορές νέων συµβολαίων έχει κάπως µετριάσει. Εκτός από τον εορτασµό του καθολικού Πάσχα, οι εµπορικοί οίκοι, που αγοράζουν ανοιχτά συµβόλαια µελλοντικής φόρτωσης θεωρούν τις τελευταίες τιµές µας πολύ υψηλές και κρατούν αποστάσεις. Από την άλλη µεριά οι εκκοκκιστές θέλουν να δουν πρώτα τις σπορές, να προχωρήσουν κάποια κλεισίµατα από τους παραγωγούς και µετά να βγουν πιο δυναµικά για πωλήσεις εκκοκκισµένου. ∆εδοµένου πως αποτελούµε την πρώτη χώρα στο Βόρειο ηµισφαίριο που συγκοµίζει, είναι πολύ πιθανό να µπορέσουµε να επωφεληθούµε τις τιµές ρεκόρ.
