Οι εγκρίσεις αφορούν προγράμματα όπως η ενίσχυση των μελισσοκόμων, βάσει του αριθμού των μελισσοσμηνών τους, με σκοπό την αντιμετώπιση του επιπλέον κόστους παραγωγής, η διατήρηση της απόδοσης του ζωικού κεφαλαίου με τη χορήγηση μέσων, όπως υλικά διατροφής, για την υποβοήθηση των μελισσοσμηνών κατά το κρίσιμο στάδιο ανάπτυξής τους κ.α.
Συνολικά έχουν εγκριθεί 27 μελισσοκομικά προγράμματα συνεταιρισμών συνολικού ύεψους 1,2 εκατ. ευρώ. Σημειώνεται πως η υλοποίηση των Προγραμμάτων Πρωτοβουλιών ολοκληρώνεται την 31η Δεκεμβρίου 2018.
